Yoga 4 Mums & Babies
Yoga 4 Mums & Babies
Spend a relaxing hour in a perfectly safe environment where the needs of your baby will always take priority – take part in a class that will benefit the two (or three!) of you.
The course runs over 5-7 weeks (late morning) and includes Baby Yoga and Postnatal Yoga.
Within the hour-long class, Postnatal Yoga for the mum and Baby Yoga are alternated and we aim to get a relaxation session in as well. The Baby Yoga consists of lots of songs & physical activity for the baby.
All the movements can be done at home too, and are a great repertoire between the often challenging hours of 16:00 – 18:00 of the day. Depending on venue, the mums tend to go for a drink/lunch afterwards.

Frequently asked questions
What should I wear to the yoga class?
Yoga is practiced in bare feet.
You might like to bring socks and jumper/cardigan for extra warmth during the relaxation.
What do I need to bring for baby?
Do I need to have my own yoga mat?
Mats are available to borrow and to buy at class.
For the relaxation you might find a small pillow useful.
Should I eat before coming to class?
Please bring water if you need it.
Do I need any previous yoga experience?
It does not matter if you haven’t practiced before – everybody has his or her individual strengths and weaknesses to work with.
You will notice how your strength and flexibility increases after just a few sessions.
It is very important to listen to your body to only do what you feel you are capable of, and make sure to rest if you feel you need to.
What if my baby is crying or needs feeding?
That means that the little ones are in “charge”, i.e. if they need feeding, sleeping, a new nappy or a walk around the room, then that has priority.
